Seminar:
Certified whistleblowing coordinator©
EU Whistleblowing Directive, Whistleblower Protection Act - do these words still sound like foreign words? Or have you already taken the first steps in your company to act in compliance with the law?
Note: The Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG) came into force in 2023 and is mandatory for companies in Austria with more than 50 employees. Companies operating in sensitive areas (e.g. financial services, tax consultants) are obliged to comply regardless of the number of employees. But which activities are mandatory for companies since 2023?
Whistleblower Protection Act:
What companies must do now
The seminar “Training to become a certified whistleblowing coordinator©” provides participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to be able to carry out the mandatory activities in a company as professional whistleblowing coordinators in accordance with the HSchG.
Every Austrian company (or branch in Austria) with at least 50 employees is obliged to implement a reporting channel since 2023 and requires at least 1 person in the company to carry out the activities in accordance with the HSchG, unless the reporting office is taken over by an ombudsperson. Please note that some companies are obliged to implement the HSchG regardless of the number of employees. Are you still unsure whether this law applies to your company?
